Mildred Rothe, age 90, passed away at the Cedar Village Long Term Care, Ness City, Kansas on December 7, 2011.
She was born on February 5, 1921 on a farm southwest of Ness City the daughter of Norvel and Mabel Petersilie Rollins.
She formerly owned a hair salon and also was a homemaker. She had been a Girl Scout leader in the Tumbleweed Council. On December 26, 1953 she married Cleveland Rothe. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2004.
She is survived by daughters, Judy Lane (Richard), Tucson, Arizona, Beverly Brady (Chris), Wichita, and Nancy Witthuhn (Don), Bazine; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Earl Rollins.
Graveside service will be Saturday, December 10, 2011, 3:00 P.M. at the Ness City Cemetery, Ness City. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, on Friday from Noon to 9 P.M. and Saturday from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M.. Memorial contributions may be given to Cedar Village Long Term Care or Ness City Public Library.
