Naida P. Sauer, 88, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Cedar Village Care Center in Ness City, Kansas.  Born Naida Zavodsky on August 30, 1932 in Alva, Oklahoma the daughter of George and N. Elizabeth (Snyder) Zavodsky.

She was a telephone operator and worked for the telephone company in Hays for 22 years.  She also worked at the Ransom Hospital in Ransom, the Senior Centers in both Ness  City and Ransom and Ralph's Grocery Store in Ness City.  She was a member of the McCracken United Methodist Church.  She married Frankie C. Sauer on March 6, 1976, in Brownell, Kansas.  He preceded her in death on June 24, 2003.

Survivors include sons, David Reed, and his wife, Yvonne, of Denver, Colorado and Jerry Sauer of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, Wesley Zavodsky, of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Malone, Jason Reed, Sherry Lyn, and Matthew Reed; great grandchildren, Sky, Dominic, Blade, and Autumn.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Frankie C. Sauer, daughter, Susan Reed, and stepson, Tom Sauer.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, July 15, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at Praise Fellowship Church, Ransom.  Burial in the Vansburgh Cemetery, Brownell.  After burial, there will be a reception at Praise Fellowship Church.

Memorial contributions may be given to Praise Fellowship Church of Ransom.
