Neva Lucille Fehrenbach, 90, passed away on January 8, 2021 at her home in Assaria, Kansas.  She was born on November 14, 1930 in McCracken, Kansas the daughter of Daniel and Anna (McGaughey) Casey, Jr.

Neva grew up on a farm southwest of McCracken. She was united in marriage to Philip Fehrenbach on August 23, 1955, in McCracken. Neva and Philip raised their four children on a farm south of Ness City. She worked for the Ness County Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Altar Society in Ness City. She enjoyed working in her garden and dancing. After she retired, she moved to Assaria.

Neva is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Philip, brothers, Lawrence, Edmund, and Francis; sisters, Anna, Ruth, Lois, and Bernice; and a daughter-in-law, Penny (Boese) Fehrenbach.

She is survived by her sister, Rita Fitzpatrick; a daughter, Diane (Ray) Hodson of Lawson, MO; 3 sons, James (Evelyn) of Salina, Richard of Assaria, John of Wilson; 6 grandchildren, Amber, Julie, Laurie, Doug, Susan, and Abi; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryker, and Olivia; and many nieces and nephews.

The Rosary will be at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. The funeral service will be on Thursday, January 14, 2021, 10:00 A.M, at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City. Burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ness City. Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas, 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing are required.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Sacred Heart Cemetery or Sacred Heart Church.
