Pauline (Wasinger) Witthuhn went to her eternal rest at Cedar Village LTC on December 18, 2025.  She was born to John and Anna Mary (Haas) Wasinger on January 5, 1928, on the farm NW of Ness City.

She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Ness City High School in 1946. She married Bud Witthuhn on September 8, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1999.  To this union two children, Don and Dianne, were born.  They made their home on the farm West of Bazine.

During high school she worked on the Cox Dairy, delivering milk, cream, and eggs before attending classes. After marriage, she worked at a local café for several years and then became the farmer's helper.  She helped with cattle, hauling and stacking hay and ran the tractor when needed. She loved attending the sport events her children were involved in.  Her proudest moments were spent seeing her great grandkids.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Sacred Heart Altar Society.

She leaves behind her son, Don (Nancy) Witthuhn, Bazine; daughter, Dianne Delaney, Ness City; grandchildren, B.J. (Jessica) Witthuhn, Ness City, Jared (Stephanie) Delaney, Ness City, Heather (Kyle) Downs, Derby; great grandchildren, Brooke and Jacob Downs, Clayton and Carl Delaney; and sister-in-law, Kay Wasinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Nick, Paul, and Wilbur; and sisters, Dorinda Gaschler, Rosalinda Gaschler, Vera Pfannenstiel, and Joan VanDegrift; and son-in-law, Neal Delaney

Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, December 22, 2025, 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Viewing will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Sacred Heart Church or Cedar Village LTC.
