Peter T. Shauers, age 52, passed away at his home near Beeler, Kansas on Thursday, February 21, 2013. He was born on June 4, 1960 in Ness City, Kansas the son of Thomas and Wilma Prose Shauers.

Pete was a near lifetime resident of Ness County, a farmer, and a member of the United Methodist Church, Beeler and he was a board member for Johnson Township.

He is survived by his brother, Steve Shauers, Lenexa, Kansas and his sister, Tana Fehrenbach and her husband Terry, Haven, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Wilma Shauers and his sister, Nikii Griffith.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 25, 2013, 10:00 am at the United Methodist Church, Beeler. Burial in the Buda Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City on Saturday from 1:00 until 9:00 pm and on Sunday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm.

Memorial contributions may be given to the United Methodist Church, Beeler.
