Rhonda Annette Gantz, age 48, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at her home in Ness City, Kansas. Born August 5, 1961 in Ness City the daughter of Wilbur and Ona Merle "Pat" (Snyder) Stecklein. She was a homemaker, and had been assisting her parents. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Ness City.

On May 29, 1982 she married Randy McKennon in Ness City. They were divorced. She later married Scott Gantz on July 24, 1989 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1996.

She is survived by her parents; son, Dustin J. McKennon, Hays, Kansas; daughter, Tiara D. Gantz, Newton; sister, Lisa Wasinger, Jetmore, 3 brothers: Gerald, Perryton, Texas, Terrance, Ford, and Darin, Ness City; granddaughter, Mariah Kelly, and her fiancé, Brad Briand, Arnold. Her brother, Brent, also preceded her in death.

Friends may call Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home from 9am – 9pm and on Thursday at the church from 10 am until service time.

Rosary and visitation will be Wednesday, 7pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, 1pm with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Burial in the Sacred Heart Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rhonda Gantz Funeral Fund in care of the funeral home.
