Rhonda Mae Robinson, age 45, died July 29, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was born on February 3, 1966 in Ness City, Kansas the daughter of Ronald F. and Josephine E. Dechant Robinson.

She was a special education teacher at Marshall Middle School . She also taught music and had taught previously in Rexford, Logan, Bazine, Kansas City, and Wichita. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ness City and the National Education Association.

She is survived by her companion Silvester Hailey I and his children: Shawna Hawkins, Silvester Hailey II, William Hailey and Javann Hailey and grandson, Trysten; brother, John Robinson, Ness City; sisters, Wanda and Steve Roehl, Wichita, Betty and Gail Oberhelman, Ness City, and Nancy Pink, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Eddie and Bud Robinson and sister Pam Ellis.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, August 3, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Cochran Mortuary, Wichita and a Memorial Service Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, KS. Friends may come to Fitzgerald Funeral Home to sign the memorial Book on Friday 9am - 9pm and Saturday 9am until service time. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association and the American Lung Association.
