Ruby May Mellies, age 88, died Jan. 18, 2011. She was born may 2, 1922, to Guy and Ava hudson Bennett.
She married Charles W. Mellies on March 14, 1947. He died March 3, 1985. Survivors include: sons, Bill and Dave; daughter, Debi Kerr; brother, Emmett; sister, Vona Smith; and many grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United methodist Church, Ness City. Visitation 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
Memorials to the church or Ness County Historical Society.
