Sandra K. Michaelis, age 76, died on June 2, 2023, at HaysMed in Hays, Kansas.  She was born on December 28, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Johnny and Betty (Anderson) McKelvey.

On October 1, 1969, she married DeWayne Michaelis in Tulsa where they made their home until they moved to Ness City, Kansas in 1998.

Sandra is survived by her husband, DeWayne of Ness City; her daughter, Charlene Michaelis of Ness City; and grandson, Tyler Michaelis of Great Bend, Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Tracy Michaelis.

A private family inurnment in Tulsa will occur at a later date. No other services are planned.
