Sergio Mendez Gonzalez, age 45, passed away south of Hanston, Friday, July 24, 2015.

He was born on October 7, 1969 in San Fernando, Mexico, the son of Abrahm Mendez Mendez and Maria Carmen Gonzalez Lopez.

He worked for Fritzlers, H2 Plains, and Professional Pulling.

On September 25, 1998, he married Maria Eulalia Quiroz Acosta.

He is survived by his parents; wife Maria of the home; son, Sergio Jr. Mendez; daughters, Viviana Mendez, Nayeli Mendez, Emily Mendez; brothers, Francisco, Vicente, Juan, Abrahm, Benito, Isidro, and Aaron Mendez; sisters Isabel and Carmen Mendez.

Viewing will be at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Sunday, July 26, 10:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with rosary Wednesday, 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 30, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City.
