Shirley Ann Kraft, age 79, passed away on December 14, 2019 at the Ness County Hospital in Ness City, Kansas. She was born on January 6, 1940 in Ness City, Kansas the daughter of Chris and Viola (Reynolds) Leterle.

She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ness City, she worked as a telephone operator in Ness City, cooked for the Ness County Hospital and she worked in the Thrift Store at Fort Dodge Soldiers' Home. Shirley enjoyed going to the casino and playing Bingo and watching KU Basketball. On Friday November 21st, 1958, she married Hubert Kraft in Guymon, Oklahoma. He died on November 22, 2019.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Kraft and his wife, Donna, of Ness City; Bill Kraft and his wife, Glenda, of Derby and Ray Kraft and his friend, Mary Werth, of Antonino; two sister, Frances Gabel and her husband, Harold Dean, and Carol Schwien and her husband, Danny, all of Ness City; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Kraft; and two infant brothers and brothers, Donald and Herbert Leterle.

Memorial service will be on Friday, December 20, 2019, 10:30 AM, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, Fort Dodge, Kansas.
