Shirley Ann Mauch's Obituary
Shirley Ann Mauch, age 87, passed away at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City, Kansas on August 17, 2011. She was born on January 13, 1924 in Ness City, Kansas the daughter of Howard and Lucy Burdett Louser.
She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Ness County while living a few years in Lawrence and Kentucky. She was a member of the Ness City United Methodist Church.
On July 23, 1945 she married Hollis A. Mauch in Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1980.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ummel (Merlin Sampson), Solomon; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Brian and Dan Mauch; brothers, James and Rex Louser, and sister, Lynn.
Graveside Services will be Monday, August 22, 2011, 10:30 A.M. at Ness City Cemetery, Ness City. Friends may sign the register on Saturday and Sunday from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City. Inurnment at Ness City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Ness City Library and ASPCA.
