Shirly Ann Froelich, age 77, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at her home on the farm near Arnold, Kansas. She was born the daughter of Alfred S. and Marie M. "Mary" Kraft Moeller on August 8, 1936 in Ellsworth County, Kansas.
She was a 1954 graduate of Holyrood High School and had lived in the Arnold area since 1959. She was a member of the Ransom VFW Post 7972 Auxiliary and a QVC monthly member, she was a pumper, a book keeper for numerous businesses, a waitress, nurses aide, and a darn good cook. She was a good mom.
On November 26, 1959 she married Donald Frank Froelich. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2004. She is survived by her son, James D. Froelich, Arnold; three daughters, Sylvia (David) Hill, Hays, Christina K. (Theron) Chaney, Arnold, and Donna J. Smith (Matt Burdette), Ransom, Kansas; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, George, and Dwaine Moeller and an infant child.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 10:00 A.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City with burial in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Ransom.
Friends may call at Fitzgerald Funeral Home on Monday from 9 A.M. until 9 PM with the family present from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Ransom VFW and the Ness County Home Health.
