McCracken, Kansas

Skyler Allen Jones, age 22, passed away in McCracken, Kansas on February 17, 2013. He was born on June 11, 1990 in Hays, Kansas the son of Richard and Rose Rolo Jones.

Skyler was a lifetime resident of McCracken and a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 7147. He graduated from LaCrosse High School in 2008. He was a cook at Grisell Memorial Hospital in Ransom, Kansas.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lynn Hecker-Jones; parents, Richard and Rose Jones, McCracken, KS; sister, Sierra Jones of Ellis, KS; grandparents, John and Ann Chandley of Arlington, TX; grandmother, Donna Rolo of Ness City, KS; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie Rolo and Jim Jones; an aunt, Joni Rolo; and a cousin, Josh Stieben.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 19, 2013 from 9:00 to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, February 20, from 9:00 to 9:00 pm, and Thursday, February 21, 9:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral home with family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday. Funeral services will be Friday February 22, 2013, at the United Methodist Church in Ness City at 1:30 am. Burial in McCracken cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Jessica Lynn Hecker-Jones Education Fund.
