Susie Jean Busby, age 65, passed away at her home in Utica on March 4, 2012. She was born on February 2, 1947 the daughter of Harold and Pearl Wilson Vaughan. She was a gravel truck driver and retired to Utica with her husband several years ago.
She married Leroy Busby on September 1, 2011 in Ness City, Kansas. He survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons, John Porter, Denver, CO and Michael Busby, Rifle, CO; four daughters, Kimberley Day, Erie, CO, Laura Beaman, Orlando, FL, Lorri Brave, Cedar Ridge, CO, and Annie Thomas, Fort Collins, CO; two brothers; Virgil Vaughan, Craig, CO and Bo Vaughan, Broomfield, CO; two sisters, Bobbie Erickson, Las Vegas, NV and Judy McGrueter, Grand Junction, CO; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a family inurnment is planned for the future in Colorado.
