Terry LaVerne Gross, age 58, passed away on November 19, 2014 at his home in Bazine, Kansas. He was born on July 26, 1956 in Larned, Kansas the son of Ruben and A. Elaine Smith Gross.

Terry was a 1974 graduate of Bazine High School. He attended Penn State University via correspondence to receive his degree as a sprinkler fitter. He was a member of the Local 669 Sprinkler Union.

On November 23, 1979 he married Lynda Vance in Golden Colorado. To this marriage were born three children.

He is survived by his son, Rujake Gross of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Terra Gross of Austin, Texas and Brianna Gross of Las Vegas, Nevada; two grandchildren, Rujake Gross, Jr. and Malaiya Parra; one brother, Marvin Gross (Denise) of Bazine, Kansas; and two sisters, Nadine Hinnergardt (Stan) of Burdett, Kansas and Debra Munsch of Hays, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Elaine Gross; one brother, Raymond Gross; a niece, Emily Gross; and a brother-in-law, Ron Munsch.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014, 10:30 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, Bazine. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Bazine Volunteer Fire Department or the Bazine Cemetery instead of sending flowers.
