Thomas Francis Stecklein 69, died January 12, 2012 at Desert Springs Hospital, Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born April 1, 1942 in Ness City, Kansas the son of Isidor and Pauline (Gabel) Stecklein.
He graduated from Dighton High School and attended Fort Hays State University and Brown Mackie School of Business. He served in the Army Reserves. Tom had his own business as an insurance adjuster.
He is survived by one brother, Terry and wife Arlene of Dodge City, step-mother Angela Friess, Ness City, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Virgil and one sister Judy Simpson.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass wil be held at Sacred Heart Church, Ness City, Kansas at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 21, 2012 with Fr. Henry Hildebrandt presiding. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ness City. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.fitzgeraldfuneral.com.
