Virginia Lee Cranston's Obituary
Virginia Lee Cranston, 87, died Jan. 2, 2010, at Harry Hynes Hospice Center, Wichita. She was born on Aug. 2, 1922, the daughter of Herbert and Isabelle Gager Dumler.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Ness City, Kansas until 1955.
On April 1, 1942, she married Dudley Cranston in Ness City. He preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 2005.
She is survived by a son, Michael Cranston, Wichita; two daughters, Joyce Cranston, Bend, Ore., and Sandra Denny, Salina; a sister, Dorothy Herman, Ness City; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be in the Ness City Cemetery on Thursday, January 7, 2010, 1:30 pm with Reverend Mark Chambers presiding. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
