Walter Dean Weaver, age 57, passed away on April 17, 2012 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. He was born on April 2, 1955 in St. Francis, Kansas the son of Ruben and Ruby Likes Weaver. He served in the United States Navy.

Members of the family include his wife, Marguerite Weaver, Yellville, Arkansas; two sons, Jeremy Weaver, Ness City, Kansas and Wade Weaver, Colby, Kansas; two daughters, Andrea Alber, Colby, Kansas and Kiysa Wehl, Manhattan, Kansas; two sisters, Anna Moubry, Downs, Kansas and Aletha Calvert, Leavenworth, Kansas; and a brother, David "Ruben" Weaver.

Funeral service, inurnment, and Military Graveside Rites will be on Saturday, September 29, 2012, 10:30 AM at the Vansburgh Cemetery, Brownell, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the Walter Weaver Funeral Fund.
