William (Bill) White Jr, 83, passed away on July 24, 2022 at his home in Ness City, Kansas.  He was born on January 9, 1939 in Scott County, Kansas the son of William and Josephine (Jones) White.

Bill was a truck driver for many years. His life was centered around family and his hobbies. His hobbies were reading, fishing, limestone crafts, gardening, and creating yard décor and other knickknacks. He married Barbara Tittel on July 10, 1975, in Bazine, Kansas.

Survivors include wife, Barbara White; children Curtis White (Kristi) of Red Oak, IA, Terry White (Linda) of Dodge City, KS, Carolyn Custer (John) of Helenville, WI, Jeffrey White (Lacy) of Kansas City, KS, Stephanie Pfannenstiel (Aaron) of Lawrence, KS; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Timothy White; and siblings, George, James, John, Midge, Martha, Mary Jo, and Jessie Lee.

Funeral service will be on Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:30 a.m., at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas.  Burial in the Ness City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Ness City Public Library or the Ness County Historical Society.
