Sidney  Osborne, 71, passed away on February 24, 2025, at the CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.  He was born on July 21, 1953, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of Marion and Wanda (Hammonds) Osborne.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator but was well known for his carpentry work.  He was able to fix just about anything.  He married Kathy Jean Holbrook on Tuesday, January 5th, 1971, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She preceded him in death on May 1, 2016.

Sid is survived by his daughter, Patricia Rowan and her husband, Chett; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his sister, Shelly Osborne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Kathy, and his son Sidney "Bubba" Jr.

Graveside memorial service will be on Saturday, March22, 2025, 1:00 p.m. in the Vansburgh Cemetery, Brownell, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Sidney Osborne Funeral Fund.
